A Pitweiler is the result of crossing an American pit bull terrier with a rottweiler. Pitweiler’s are generally a healthy breed and can live any where from 11-13 years. Adult size of this dog is around 50-100 pounds depending on the parents. Pitweiler’s are loyal and has good temperament if properly socialized at an young age. Pitweiler’s are easily cared for and shed slightly and has short smooth coats. Pitweiler’s make great guard dogs as they bark only when they are alert.
